Let the length of the train be ‘x’ m

Distance covered by the train = x m

Time taken = 9 s

Speed = 70 kmph = 70 × 5/18 mps = 350/18 mps

Distance= Speed × Time = (350/18)×9 m = 175 m

Hence the length of the train is 175 m.
