Heya Friend !!

The transparent covering of the front part of the eye is called CORNEA .

➡️Cornea is the anterior portion of sclera layer .
( Sclera is the white covering which protects the eye and it can be seen in the front of the eye . It is composed of a dense connective tissue . )

➡️Cornea protects the inside of the eye from dust and other matter .

➡️It also helps to focus the light onto the retina .

➡️It does not have any blood vessels but does have nerves which makes it sensitive .

hope this helps :)
