from equation (i)
a = p-2d ............(iii)
putting in equation (ii)
p-2d+3d=q
p+d=q
d=q-p
putting in (iii)
a=p-2(q-p)
a=p-(2q-2p)
a=p-2q+2p
a=3p-2q
so, 10th term = a+9d = 3p-2q+9(q-p)
= 3p-2q+9q-9p
=7q-6p
