1) The entire fault of the war was placed on Germany and it was deemed as the aggressor and the cause of the war. It had do pay 33B dollars as reparations which it was in no state of paying.
2)It’s army was reduced to 100,000 men only and the navy was reduced to 23 battleships and 15000 men. The submarines and Air Force was banned.
3)It was divided into two parts only for the benefit of Poland, so that Poland could gain land access to sea routes. Danzig became a free port, Eupen-et-Malmady was given to belgium, Schleswig to Denmark and Alsace Lorraine to France.
