the treaty of Versailles was harsh and humilating on Germany .Germany had lost the WWI.it was forced to sign the treaty . although there were other countries ,the war guilt case held Germany as the responsible country for causing a lot of damage in the war ,as a result it was forced to pay a large compensation.
