Each and every villager looked confused, they were hanging out in groups discussing what was obvious.
The last day had come, the day we gave as an altimutum, the following day, we would be leaving Freetown in caravans like the barbers in the dessert.
Even our cat at night kept singing what I reffered toi as the song of freedom, it was like the trees had taken a stand, enough is enough, the captives had decided.
And the foillowing day, all rosed, packed and never feared the bullets as they matched out, the survivors could later tell the story.
Answer:
"This is a story of a small village where people were aggressively cutting the trees to establish their houses. There was this old tree in the middle of the village which had no leaves, and it was all dry. The villagers thought that they should cut the tree since it was of no use for them . They went to cut it, but despite trying hard enough, they were not able to get through it. It appeared as is the tree had taken a stand; enough is enough".
