The tremors of earthquake were felt at intervals of 15 seconds.

The first tremor was felt at 8:54:57 and last tremor was felt at 10:45:12.

The first time =8:54:57  second time = 10:45:12.

The difference of the two time=1:50:15

so total time in seconds = (1 x 60 x 60) + (50 x 60) +15 = 6615 seconds

Since the tremors of earthquake were felt at intervals of 15 seconds

The number of times were the tremors felt =(6615/15) +2=441 + 2= 443 times

Answer:

The tremors would've been felt 443 times.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the tremors of the earthquake were felt at time intervals of every 15 seconds.

Therefore,

the \: number \: of \: tremors =  \frac{total \: time \: span(in \: seconds)}{time \: interval \: between \: each \: tremor}

Since the first tremor was felt at 8hrs 54mins 57s and the last tremor at 10hrs 45 mins 12s

Therefore the time span of the whole earthquake is 1hr 50mins 15secs

To convert the total time span in second,

= (1 hr×60mins×60s)+(50mins+60s)+15s

=6615 seconds

Therefore, the number of tremors felt will be,

=6615/15

=441

Since, the first and the last tremor were not included in between the total time span of the earthquake

The total number of tremors felt = 443
