Russia celebrated its 75 years of World war II victory upon the cental powers, more prominently Germany. The Indian Armed force participated in this parade.

❇ The Parade was to be held on May 9th, the Victory day but due to the wake of Corona pandemic, it was delayed to June 24.

❇ Our honourable PM, Sri Narendra Modi was invited as a special guest on this Victory Day, But later he could not attend due to ongoing circumstances of COVID-19 situation.

❇ Hence, Our government decided to send our Tri-Service Contigent for taking part in the Parade. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, also went along with them.

❇ For Social Distancing and Safe guidelines for COVID-19, the contigent along with our defence minister were tested and kept in quarantine before sending and after they came, they will again be kept in Quarantine.

❇ Russia has invited the heads of 75 countries, for the celebration of their victory over nazisim in world war 2.

❇ Russian president Vladimir Putin had invited PM modi to this event, because Russia has good relation with India in terms of defence and military service.
