Sides of the triangle = 7cm(a), 8cm(b), 12cm(c)

Semi peimeter (s) = (a+b+c)/2

s = (7+8+12)/2

s = 27/2

s = 13.5cm

According to heron's formula:-

Area = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

= √13.5(13.5-7)(13.5-8)(13.5-12)

= √13.5×6.5×5.5×1.5

= √723.9375

Area = 26.91 cm² (approx.)

(Important Note : The answer is taken out in approximation, because using the data given by you a whole answer was not there, so the answer is upto 2 decimal places which is valid for exams)
