The triangular side walls of a flyover have been used for advertisements. The sides of the walls are 25 m, 17 m and 12 m (see figure). The advertisements yield on earning of ₹3000 per m² per year. A company hired one of its walls for 6 months. How much rent did it pay?

Answer:

pls post the figure as well for avoiding any confusion

Step-by-step explanation:

advertisements can be posted on only 2 sides of triangular side walls of a flyover.

so,

25*12(because the company rented only 1 side wall)

300m²

for 1 year, the advertisement will yield = 300*3000 = 900000

since the company rented the wall for 6 months, the advertisement yielded = 900000/2 = ₹450000
