Cancer of the equator in the Northern Hemisphere equals 23° 26'22" N 0° 0'0" W coordinates: 23° 26'22" N 0° 0'0" W, drawn from west to east on the globe is a hypothetical line. Cancer line is the latitude line on the Earth, on which the sun shines vertically in the afternoon.

This phenomenon occurs during the June Revolution when the Northern Hemisphere bends very high to the Sun. The position of this line is not permanent but it keeps on manipulating time according to time. The 21st June is known as the hottest day in the whole year because the rays of the ‘sun fall’ quite vertically on the earth.
