SA = 2 × l × w  +  2 × l × h  +  2 × w × h 

SA = 2 × 1/2 × 8  +  2 × 1/2 × 1/4  +  2 × 8 × 1/4 

SA = 1 × 8  +  1 × 1/4  +  16 × 1/4 

SA = 8 + 1/4 + 4

SA = 12 + 1/4 

SA = 48/4 + 1/4 

SA = 49/4 cm2 SA = 12.25 cm2
