Step-by-step explanation:

a = 60 , b = 40cm and diagonal = 80 cm

perimeter of triangle = 60+40+80 = 180cm

semi perimeter = P/2 = 180/2 = 90

area of triangle =

 \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}  \\  =  \sqrt{90(90 - 60)(90 - 40)(90 - 80)}  \\  =  \sqrt{90 \times 30 \times 50 \times 10}  \\  =  \sqrt{1350000}  \\  = 300 \sqrt{15}  \\  = 1,161.895(approx)

area of parallelogram = 2*1,161.895 = 2,323.79cm²
