given triangle is equalaterial triangle

3x = 24

x = 24/3

x = 8

lenght of each side = 8cm

altitude = ?

let AB, BC and CD are side and AD is altitude

according to pytogorous theorm AB^2 = (1/2 BC^2)+ AD^2

8^2 = 4^2 + AD^2

64 = 16 + AD^2

AD^2 = 64 - 16

= 48

AD = \sqrt{48}

plz mark me branilist buddy

AREA = 1/2 x base x height

= 1/2 x 8 x \sqrt{48}

= 4\sqrt{48}

= 16\sqrt{3}
