M1/m2=3
k1/k2=1/3 =(1/2)m1v1²/(1/2)m2v2²=1/3
= m1/v1²/m2v2²=1/3
But,(m1/m2=3)
=3(v1/v2)²=1/3
=(v1/v2)²=1/9
=v1/v2=(1/9)½=1/3

Given, M1 = M2 = 1


Now,


K.E1 / K.E2 = 1 / 2


K.E1 = 1

=>1/2 × M1 × V1 = 1

=> 1/2 × 1 × V1 = 1

=> V1 = 2


K.E2 = 2

=>1/2× M2 × V2 = 2

=> 1/2 × 1 × V2 = 2

=> V2 = 4


So,

V1 / V2 = 2 / 4

V1 : V2 = 1 : 2
