I think that this variation in the cells is because the new DNA strand thus formed consists of one new strand and one old strand.

the answer to this question will depend on how accurately the copying reactions involved . no biological chemical reaction is absolutely reliable therefore ages only expected that the process of copying the DNA will the some variations each timeuss result DNA copies generated will be similar but may not identical to the original
