The two complimentary angle difference is 12°. Find angles.

\huge{\underline{\sf{Solution :-}}}}

If two angles are complementary, the sum of their measures is 90 degrees.

Let one of the angle be x.

This means that its complement is (90−x) degrees.

According to the question,

The difference in their measures is 12 degrees. Then, the equation becomes :

→ x − ( 90 − x ) = 12

→ x − 90 + x = 12

→ 2x −90 = 12

→ 2x = 12 + 90

→ 2x = 102

→ x = 51

➜ Therefore, measure of the first angle is 51° and measure of the second angle is 90 − x = 90 - 51° = 39° .
