Since the diagonals of rectangle are equal.....

Diagonal 1st = Diagonal 2nd

2y+5=3y+4

5-4=3y-2y

1=y

Putting value of y in length of diagonals...

2(1)+5=2+5=7 cm.........Diagonal 1st

3(1)+4=3+4=7cm..........Diagonal 2nd
