To find : other number

as we know that ,

LCM X HCF = Product of two numbers --------------------------- (i)

Thus , let other be x , then ,

substituting values in (i)

144 x 6 = 48 x x

864 = 48 x

x = \frac{864}{48}

x = 18

hence other number is 18.

therefore option '4' is correct.

HCF = 12

LCM = 144

One number = 48

Let other number = x

We know,

Product Of Two Number = HCF X. LCM

48 Multiply By x. = 6 X 144

x = 6 X 144

48

x = 18

Therefore, The other number is  18.
