Crust is the solid outer layer .lithosphere of the earth also lies in this surface along with upper part of mantle.  This is actually the area which have thickness starting from the 6 km and can go upto 30 km as in the ocean. This division is  also contain the rock and are separated from the mantle. Mantle is actually the really thickest layer and can go up to the depth of 2890km. This is the high temperature and high pressure area  so that it causes the silicate material to ductile . High pressure at the bottom approximate reaches about 140GPa .
