Let length of equal sides of an isosceles triangle be 2x cm.

So, the third side of triangle x cm Perimeter of triangle = 50 cm

⇒x + 2x + 2x = 50

⇒5x = 50

x =  \frac{50}{5}  = 10

  • Thus, 10 cm, 12 cm and 12 cm are the required sides of the triangle.
