the two legs of a triangle are equal and the square of its hypotenuse is 50 . find the length of each leg

Let each equal side be x


Hypotenuse^2 = base^2 + perpendicular^2


50 = x^2+x^2

50= 2x^2

25= x^2

√25= x

5=x

Or the length of ech leg is 5cm
