The two main objectives of fundamental rights according to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar were firstly every citizen must be able to claim these rights.


Secondly, they must be binding on every authority upon every authority which has got either the power to make laws or the power to have discretion vested in it

The objectives for implementing the "FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS" are:

• The first objective is that every citizen irrespective of his caste, creed, gender, age or any such stratification should be able to claim these rights.  

• The second objective is that these rights should be binding on every authority irrespective of their power, authority or position. "Dr Ambedkar" was the "father of Indian constitution" . He was the one to emphasize on the two fold objective of the fundamental rights.
