The terrible consequences of evil are shown in the following two instances.
(1) In the first instance, Micah makes a bronze statue, an idol and a small sanctuary with 200 shekels of silver. Her mother gave them to him when he had admitted taking eleven hundred shekels of silver that he had returned to his mother. The evil in it was taking the coins and the result was that the sanctuary was finally stolen by the Danites.
(2) In the second instance, it is the crime of Guibea and the Benjamin tribe was punished for it. They were nearly wiped out as they had raped and taken the life a Levite's woman. In Guibea, the woman was innocent and was living in the house of an old man. In this sequence, the result of evil was being dead.
