Solution :-

Put x in the ratio

Numbers are

• 6x
• 5x

Here

• Sum of the numbers is 110.

According to question :-

⇒ 6x + 5x = 110

⇒ 11x = 110

⇒ x = 110/11

⇒ x = 10

Put the value of x in the ratio

Now

• 6x = 6 × 10 = 60
• 5x = 5 × 10 = 50

Hence, the numbers are 60 and 50 respectively.
