the two numbers are in the ratio of 1 is to 2 if both the numbers are increased by 10 the ratio becomes 2 is to 3 find the numbers

x/y=1/2----x=y/2 (x+10)/(y+10)=2/3 (y/2+10)*3=2*(y+10) 3y/2+30=2y+20 -y/2=-10 y=20 x=y/2=20/2=10
