Step-by-step explanation:

let the two numbers be 3x,5x

if the no increased by 10

3x+10,5x+10

3(x+10) ,5(x+10

3x+30,5x+50

5x-3x 50-30

2x=20

x=20/2

x=10

5*10,7*10

50 and 70

5:7

3X and 5X are equal to the two numbers.

(3X+10) and (5X+10) are equal to the number after been increase by 10.

so we can write:-

1) 3X+10=(5X) which is the number after the increase.

2)5X+10=(7X)which is the number after the increased.

the X value for both equation will be same. so we can solve one equation to get the value of X.

Solve:-

1)3X+10=5X

•10=5X-3X

•10=2X

•X=10/2

The value of X is 5.

The sum of two numbers is:-

3X+5X

3(5)+5(5)

15+25
