Given:-

  • First parallel side of trapezium = 21cm

  • Second parallel side of trapezium = 19cm

  • Distance between parallel sides = 11cm

To find:-

  • Area of Trapezium

Formula Used:-

  • {\boxed{\bf{Area\: of\: Trapezium \:= \dfrac{1}{2}\times [Sum\:of\: Parallel\:Sides]\times Height}}}

Solution:-

Using Formula,

\sf \implies\:Area\: of\: Trapezium \:= \dfrac{1}{2}\times [Sum\:of\: Parallel\:Sides]\times Height

Putting values,

\sf \implies\:Area\: of\: Trapezium \:= \dfrac{1}{2}\times [20+19]\times 11

\sf \implies\:Area\: of\: Trapezium \:= \dfrac{1}{2}\times 39\times 11

\sf \implies\:Area\: of\: Trapezium \:= \dfrac{1}{2}\times 429

\sf \implies\:Area\: of\: Trapezium \:= 214.5 \:cm^2

Hence, The Area of Trapezium is 214.5cm².
