let the 2 perpendicular sides be 3x and 4x
therefore by Pythagoras theorem,
hypotenuse = √[(3x)²+(4x)²]
= √[9x²+16x²]
= √25x²
= 5x
perimeter = sum of 3 sides
therefore 96 = 3x+4x+5x
96 = 12x
x = 8
therefore 3x = 24, 4x = 32, 5x = 40
the 3 sides are 24cm, 32cm, 40cm.
