SOLUTION:-

Given:

The two sides of a parallelogram ABCD are 6cm & 4cm. The height of corresponding to the base CD is 3cm.

To find:

Find the area of the parallelogram & the height of corresponding to the base AD.

Solution:

We have, ABCD as the given parallelogram in which AB=6cm, BC=4cm.

We know that opposite side of ||gm are equal, then;

⚫CD=AB = 6cm

⚫AD =BC= 4cm

We have, AE CD & CF AD.

Now,

Height corresponding to base CD=AC=3cm

Area of parallelogram ABCD;

=) Base × height

=) CD × AE

=) 6cm × 3cm

=) 18cm²

Now,

The height corresponding to base AD=CF=x cm

Area of parallelogram ABCD;

=) base× height

=) 18 =AD ×CF

=) 18 = 4 × x

=) x= 18/4

=) x = 4.5cm

So,

Height of corresponding to base is 4.5cm.

Hope it helps ☺️
