HERE IS YOUR ANSWER.,,

Let ∆ABC is right angled triangle.

AB^2 + BC^2 = AC^2

AB = 8cm
BC = 6cm

AC^2 = hypotenuse

AC^2 = 8^2 + 6^2
= 64 + 36
= 100
AC = √100

AC = 10 cm

so 64 +36= ac^2
so AC =10
