Answer:-

Given:-

Ratio of the two supplementary angles is 2:3.

To Find:-

Measurement of the angles.

__________...

We know,

Sum of supplementary angles = 180°

Let the common between the two angles be = x

∴ 1st Angle = 2x

2nd one = 3x

Sum of angles = 180°

According to the Question:-

2x + 3x = 180°

➵ 5x = 180°

➵ x = 180°/5

x = 36°

First angle :-

2(x) = 2(36°) = 72°

Second one:-

3(x) = 3(36°) = 108°

Verification:-

LHS:-

2x + 3x

= 72° + 108°

= 180° ...(LHS val.)

RHS:-

180° ...(RHS val.)

LHS = RHS

Given :

  • Ratio is 2:3
  • Supplementary angle is 180°

To find :

  • Angle

According to the question,

  • Let the ratio be 2x and 3x
  • Supplementary angle value is 180°

➜ 2x + 3x = 180°

➜ 5x = 180°

➜ x = 180° ÷ 5

.°. x = 36°

  • First angle is 2x = 2 × 36° = 72°
  • Second angle is 3x = 3 × 36° = 108°

Verification :

➜ 2x + 3x = 180°

➜ 2 × 36° + 3 × 36° = 180°

➜ 72° + 108° = 180°

➜ 180° = 180°
