Step-by-step explanation:

The tank filled by tap A in 1 hour = 1/12th

Tap B fills the tank in 1 hour = 1/15th

A and B taps fill the tank in 1 hour = 1/12 + 1/15 = 9/60 = 3/20th

Pipe C empties the tank in 1 hour = 1/10th

When all the 3 pipes are open, the part of tank filled = 3/20 - 1/10 = 1/20th

i.e., 20 hours is the time taken to completely fill the tank.

The tank can't be filled when all the 3 taps are open.
