The Output Devices display the output which is the information that has been obtained after processing the data.

The Three Output Devices Are

  • The Monitor is known as the Visual Display Unit (VDU). There are different types of monitors such as Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) monitors, Light-Emitting Diode (LED) monitors and Plasma monitors. It exhibits processed data such as text, images, videos, audio, etc.

  • The Printer is used to give output in printed form. The printed output is called a hard copy. A printer can print in black and white or colour, depending on the features available on it. It is an output device that builds a hard copy of the processed data or information.

  • Speakers are used to output sounds, voice, and music from the computer system. The sound quality is very good since it is digital sound. They accept audio input from the computer’s sound card and output sound waves as an audio product.
