2)Bajra grows well on Sandy soil and shallow black soil.Major bajra producing states were Rajasthan,Uttar Pradesh etc.

3)Ragi is grown in dry regions and grows well on red,black,Sandy,loamy and shallow black soil.Major ragi producing states are Tamil Nadu,Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand,Sikkhim etc
