Veins of leaves are vascular strands and consist of xylem and phloem. Most elements of these vascular strands consist of sclerenchymatous walls. Veins themselves are surrounded by bundle sheath in some plants which is made up of sclerenchyma cells and this sheath can be considered wall of veins.
