The umbrella of ozone in the upper atmosphere is formed from the photolysis of O_2

molecules by solar radiation according to the following reaction:

O2+hν→O+O
Calculate the cutoff wavelength above which this reaction cannot occur (in nm).

On your own, look up a plot of the solar spectrum in the upper atmosphere and identity which portion of the spectrum will cause the O2 to dissociate.
