on the union list only the union govt can make laws for the whole country and on state list only the state govt can make laws for the state whereas on the concurrent list both state and union govt can make laws.

lthe subjects in the union list word be looked after solely by the central government for stop the subjects in the state list what to be looked after solely by the state governments. the subjects in the concurrent list word to be the joint responsibility of both the centre and the state government.
