Any two digit number ( suppose xy ) can be represent like this
10x + y
EXP:-
Let the digit at units place be x and let the digit at tens place be y
Let the two digit no. be xy
According to the question
y = 2x .... equation 1
10y + x = 10x + y + 18
y - x = 2..... equation 2
Now, put value of y in equation 2
2x - x = 2
x = 2 and y = 4
Hence the no. is 24
