The unit for moment if force is same as the unit for work.(Newton metre).Give reason.
(I need to understand so let the answer be simple and detailed instead of it being full of complicated words.)

Even though both have the same unit (Nm),  it is written as Nm for torque (moment of force) as it is a vector unit while work being a scalar quantity is written as joule (J).

Plus, in moment if force also we calculate the amount of work done by the force on the body.

they have same units but
