-------------------HEY DEAR------------------

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER................

WE KNOW,

(MOMENTUM )^2 = (MV)^2

SO, DIVIDE IT BY MASS

ITS BECOME  :  M(V)^2

          UNITS OF MASS = Kg.

         UNITS OF VELOCITY = m/sec

SO UNITS OF M(V)^2 = kg.m^2 / sec^2......................(1.)

KINETIC ENERGY = 1/2 M (V)^2

            HERE 1/2 IS CONSTANT

SO UNITS OF KINETIC ENERGY = kg.m^2 / sec^2

                                                        = JOULE

COMPARE IT WITH ONE

YOU WILL FIND THAT ITS UNITS ARE SAME

HENCE ,

JOULE IS THE ANSWER...................

HOPE IT HELPS YOU..
