The United Kingdom has a unitary form of government whereas India has a federal form of government. Compare and contrast how the governments of both these countries work. What problems do they face? Answer:

India has a federal form of govt where power is divided into 3 constituents- central state and panchayat.

Panchayat in our country have helped bring forward the problems faced by the villages and backward sections of the society.

UK has a unitary govt which there is only one central govt.

As UK is a developed country, there is no need of panchayat like india. However this form of govt limits the power of the states.

If these two countries were to switch forms of govt. It would not function properly as the issues faced in lower sections of society in india cannot be brought up
