Given,

The units digit of a two digit number exceeds the 10 digits by 1

so,

Let ,

The number = 10x+y

(10x+y) +(10x+y) = 1. 3 2

X+Y = 12------>1

And,

10x + y +12 = 5(x+y)

5x - 4y = -12------>2

eq-->1 ×(4)

4x+4y = 48----->3

now

Add eq--(3) + eq---(4)

9x = 36

x=36/9

X = 4

substitute 4 in eq(1)

y=12-4

y=8

so ,

The final answer is 48.
