Answer:

28

Step-by-step explanation:

Using Hit and Trial Method, we can find two "original" 2-digit no. fulfilling the first condition (The units place digits of a two digit number is four times the digits in the ten's place)

  • 14 is the first no. we get. Unit place (4) is four times the ten's digit (1)
  • 28 is the second no. we get. Unit place (8) is four times the ten's digit (2)

Check which no. is right by using the second condition ( if the digits are reversed and the original number is subtracted from the new number the difference is 54)

  • 14 reversed is 41,

So when original number is subtracted from the new number:

                  41 - 14 = 27

        Since, 27  ≠  54

14 is not the Original No.

  • 28 reversed is 82,

So when original number is subtracted from the new number:

                  82 - 28 = 54

         Since, 54 = 54

         28 is the Original No.
