The uprising of 1857 instilled a feeling of patriotism in the hearts of Indians. But it was called Mutiny by the Britishers. Due to their systematized modern warfare and man-power they won the war. After winning the war the British made the Indians their slaves and oppressed them.
Reading this makes me feel a true patriotic Indian despite all the odds the Indians never stopped fighting for their struggle of Independence.
