The uprising of 1899 at Beed was led by under the leadership of Chepkar and later with the help of Sadashiv Nilkanth Joshi. Beed is one of the states of the city of Nawabs, Hyderabad where Marathi people lived. The main motto of this revolution is to throw away the British from India. In this period of time(1898-1900) hundreds of people and thousands of cattle die and great famine occurred.
