Answer

DDT is chemically an organic insecticide but with time many insect species have developed resistance to it. DDT cannot be degraded easily so If crops were sprayed with it ; it affect crops somehow affecting us also since it stays in the environment for long because it takes long time .for degrading it affects the fishes when it gets washed oFF due to rain.

When these fishes come in contact with DDT( it has a high toxicity towards ), DDT gets deposited in animals if these fishes are taken in diet by us the DDT continues to deposit in our body as well and gets stored in fatty tissues.
