  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

              Given data:- 1.1^{2} -0.9^{2} .

              To find:- Value of given expression=?

              Solution:-

  • To solve the above equation we will follow the BODMAS rule.
  • It is the rule used to remember the order of operations to be followed while solving expressions in mathematics.

         where,

         \begin{array}{l}\mathrm{B}=\text{brackets}\\\mathrm{O}=\text { order of powers or rules } \\\mathrm{D}=\text { division } \\\mathrm{M}=\text { multiplication } \\\mathrm{A}=\text { addition } \\\mathrm{S}=\text { subtraction }\end{array}

       Therefore,

         1.1^{2} -0.9^{2} \\=1.21-0.81\\=0.4.

Hence we will get the value 0.4.

In the above question the equation given bellow is,

1.1^{2} -0.9^{2}

Thus we have to find the simplified value of the equation,

By simplification method we are going to simplify it as follow,

=1.1^{2} -0.9^{2} \\

After simplifying the equation we get,

=1.21-0.81

Now subtracting the 1.21 with 0.81, we get

=0.4

Hence after simplifying the equation we get the value as 0.4.
