Solution :

********************************

We know the Trigonometric identity:

i ) sec²A - tan²A = 1

Or

-tan²A = 1 - sec²A

And

tan²A × cot²A = 1

*******************************

Now ,

( 1 - sec²A )cot²A

= ( - tan²A )cot²A

= - ( tan²Acot²A )

= -1

Therefore ,

Option ( A ) is correct.

HELLO DEAR,

WE KNOW:- ( sec²A - 1 = tan²A)

( 1 - sec²A )cot²A

= ( - tan²A )cot²A

= - ( tan²A . cot²A )

= - (sin²A/cos²A . cos²A/sin²A)

= - 1

I HOPE IT'S HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS
