To solve : 2  + 3 +2 \ of  \ 7 + (\frac{1}{2}+2 ) + \frac{7}{2} \div 5

Solution:-

  • To solve the above equation we will follow BODMAS rule.
  • It is the rule used to remember the order of operations to be followed while solving expressions in mathematics.
  • where,

        \begin{array}{l} \\B= brackets \\\mathrm{O}=\text { order of powers or rules } \\\mathrm{D}=\text { Division } \\\mathrm{M}=\text { multiplication } \\\mathrm{A}=\text { addition } \\\mathrm{S}=\text { subtraction }\end{array}

  • According to above rule we will solve  .
  • 2  + 3 +2 \ of  \ 7 + (\frac{1}{2}+2 ) + \frac{7}{2} \div 5

        = 2 + 3 +2\times 7 + (\frac{1}{2} +2 ) + \frac{7 }{2}\div 5 \\\\= 2 +3 +2\times 7 +( \frac{1+ 4}{2} ) + \frac{7}{2} \div 5 \\\\= 2 + 3 +2 \times 7 + \frac{5}{2} + \frac{7}{2}  \div 5 \\\\= 2 + 3 +2 \times 7 +\frac{5}{2} + \frac{7}{2} \times \frac{1}{5} \\\\= 2+ 3 + 14 + \frac{5}{2} + \frac{7}{10} \\\\= \frac{20 + 30 + 140 + 25 + 7}{10}  \\\\= \frac{222}{10}        \\\\= \frac{111}{5}

Hence , on solving the above expression we get answer as \frac{111}{5} .
